The young Brazilian actress Jessica May, who gained fame in Turkey after the successful TV series New Bride / Yeni Gelin, went on New Year’s holidays to her homeland with her husband, famous Turkish photographer Huseyn Kara. Before leaving, the young woman gave a brief interview in which she told about her new film.

As you know, preparations are in full fling for a large project starring Çağatay Ulusoy on the life of an outstanding Turkish athlete Koca Yusuf. Jessica confirmed that work on the script is underway and the shooting is scheduled for next year. It will be a wonderful story in which she will play a French translator named Erica. She wants to get to work soon and play this character.

It is not yet clear whether Jessica will become Çağatay Ulusoy’s co-star or simply take part in the movie. Actually, Koca Yusuf had a Turkish wife, whom he sincerely loved, and he had two sons. It was the homesickness that made the athlete give up a brilliant career in the United States and leave for Turkey. Alas, he never reached his destination, drowning with the passengers of the ocean liner La Bourgogne.

Whether the creators of the movie will follow historical facts or introduce French love for Koca Yusuf to the story is not yet known. However, if historical truth is respected, then Jessica will not be the leading lady. Another actress will be the co-star of Çağatay Ulusoy.
