Netflix helps Turkish film industry

Netflix together with the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and the Union of Cinematographers of Turkey, has taken an important step to support film industry workers who have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic. İKSV and the Union of Cinematographers will take over the management and distribution of support, which was created with the participation of Netflix for 4 million Turkish lira. On a special website, it will be possible for any person involved in film production to submit an application, which they will consider and issue a conclusion whether he can receive assistance in the amount of 2,500 Turkish lira.
