Who will play Afife Jale?

The Turkish press reports that preparations have begun for a new film that will tell about the life of the first Muslim actress Afife Jale. The film is created by Klan Film Makers / Fanatik Film / Mars Entertainment and director Emir Khalilzadeh.

It is not known who will play the leading female role, they say that negotiations are ongoing with Özge Özpirinçci. The press also mentions Serenay Sarıkaya. Journalists believe that she would perfectly cope with this role. But who the producers will choose has not yet been announced. The film should be released on February 12, 2021. Mert Firat will play the role of the Afife’s husband.  Asli Bekyroglu, Selim Bayraktar, Idil Firat  are also in the cast of the movie.
