The Saga of the Bright Girl / Ak Kızın Destanı

Historical Turkish TV series enjoy great attention not only from Turkish, but also from world viewers. Special attention is drawn to the work of the creator of the famous series The Resurrection Ertugrul and The Ottoman Mehmet Bozdag.

As it became known, the producer begins preparations for a new multi-budget series for the ATV TV channel The Saga of the Bright Girl / Ak Kızın Destanı. Filming for the series begins in July and is currently casting. The series is set in the 9th century. This is the love story of a girl from a mountain camp, whose tribe lived in Central Asia, and the son of a khan. The series will show the period of the adoption of Islam by the Turks.

Mehmet Bozdag has long dreamed of a series about the ancestor of the Turks, the famous Oguzhan. It looks like this series will be another stepping stone to the future mega project.
