Pantene excuses itself for the Golden Butterfly

Pantene was quick to issue a statement explaining that they are only sponsoring the Golden Butterfly ceremony and not taking part in the selection of the winners, therefore they have nothing to do with the choice made by the jury and greatly respect the rights of women. All this pathos was caused by the presentation of an honorary award to İbrahim Tatlıses, who is known not only as a singer and TV presenter, but also as a person who did not hesitate to use violence against women. The singer’s reputation is very bad, so the Golden Butterfly Award made Turkish viewers perplexed.
