The preparation of Ay Yapım’s film for Netflix, “Ash / Kül” continues. The script was written by Erdi Işık, known for his theatrical plays. Directed by Erdem Tepegöz. The main male role in the project will be played by Alperen Duymaz, who will embody the image of the carpenter Metin Ali on the screen.

According to well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, Funda Eryiğit, who has repeatedly worked in Netflix projects, will be Alperen’s co-star in the movie. Most recently, she finished filming a new movie for the platform, where her partner was Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. Funda will play the role of the wife of the owner of the publishing house named Gökçe, who will immerse herself in the world of the book she received. Her life will move to another dimension along with the carpenter Metin Ali, whom she will chase.
