According to the tabloid Takvim, Alina Boz and her lover Mithat Can Özer are planning to officially formalize their relationship. 24-year-old Alina is considering marriage after Mithat obtains Portuguese citizenship. According to the publication, he already invested 800,000 euros in the purchase of a house in Portugal last year and applied for a “golden visa” – a special type of residency permit issued to foreign investors who purchase real estate worth at least 280,000 euros.

According to the program’s rules, Mithat must stay in Portugal for a minimum of 7 days per year to apply for citizenship of this country. Also, thanks to this program, members of his family will also have the right to residency and citizenship in Portugal.
