Is Kenan İmirzalioğlu returning to the screens?
Wonderful news for Kenan İmirzalioğlu fans! The renowned actor may make a comeback in a new TV show being prepared by OGM Pictures for Star TV.
For the past four years, the Turkish press has been buzzing about the adaptation of one of the bestselling novels by renowned writer and psychologist Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu “If the King Loses” for Turkish television, which is being prepared by OGM Pictures. It’s worth mentioning that producer Onur Güvenatam, in collaboration with Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, has been behind successful series such as “Evermore,” “My Home My Destiny,” “The Innocents,” “Red Room,” “Chrysalis,” “Golden Boy,” and “The Tailor.” It’s no wonder that their new joint project is highly anticipated.
According to reports from the publication Posta, producer Onur Güvenatam has once again offered Kenan İmirzalioğlu the lead role in the upcoming series based on the book “If the King Loses.” Interestingly, Kenan had previously rejected the series’ script, after which Güvenatam struck a deal with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. However, when the script preparation took longer than expected, Kıvanç chose to start filming for the series “The Family.” Now, a new offer has been extended to Kenan to play the lead role in the TV show again. If he likes the new version of the script, he will take on the main role in this show, which is slated to premiere in the upcoming television season.
