Sevcan Yaşar filed a request with the court to block news about her romantic relationships that emerged before her wedding. Through her lawyer, Yaşar stated that she psychologically perceived the appearance of certain news about herself in the media negatively and requested that access to them be blocked. However, the judge noted that the said news was published within the framework of freedom of the press and there were insufficient grounds for removal, rejecting the request.
