Ayça Ayşin Turan, who has been absent from Turkish television screens for quite some time, has chosen a new TV show after negotiations with several production companies. As reported by the renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the actress has signed a contract with Süreç Film company for the shooting of the new series “Scorched Land / Yanık Ülke,” which is being prepared for Fox TV.

After a short break, the actress will begin preparations for her role in the show, where she will portray a character named Sevda. Her co-star will be Serkan Çayoğlu. The first scenes of the series will be filmed in Montenegro. Serkan will play a character named Kerem. Also in the cast is Gonca Vuslateri, who will portray Kerem’s sister, Fikriye. The shooting will start in mid-July.
