Kadir Doğulu demanded 1 million liras from the journalist
For a long time, we have witnessed the harassment of Kadir Doğulu and Neslihan Atagül by the Turkish press. The couple has decided to put an end to this story by filing a lawsuit against the journalist who has been stalking them.
Kadir Doğulu has filed a lawsuit against journalist Onur Akay, demanding compensation of 1 million liras for the moral damage caused. The actor claims that Onur Akay made unfounded statements about his personal life, damaging his reputation, honor, and prestige by calling him a “married imam,” a “sectarian,” and so on.
On the other hand, Neslihan Atagül has appealed to the Istanbul Family Court through her lawyer, requesting a monthly ban on Onur Akay’s appearances. In her statement submitted to the court, she seeks a court order, alleging that the journalist has persistently exerted psychological pressure on her in the television program ‘If I Don’t Say’. If the court finds in favor of the actress, it may impose a one-month ban on Akay’s appearances.
