On July 20th, the filming of the second season of the popular Turkish series “Another Self / Zeytin Ağacı”, starring Tuba Büyüküstün, Seda Bakan, Boncuk Yılmaz and Murat Boz, started. The first three episodes of the show by OGM Pictures will be directed by Burcu Alptekin, who will then continue working on the series “Golden Boy”. The screenplay for the second season, like the first one, was written by Nuran Evren Şit.

According to the famous journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Aytaç Şaşmaz joined the cast of the series in the role of Diyar, who will appear in the life of Ada (Tuba Büyüküstün). This is the young actor’s first experience working in a Netflix series. Also, the series will feature the mother of Leyla (Seda Bakan), played by Nilüfer Açıkalın.

It’s worth mentioning that the series “Another Self” is in the genre of family drama and is considered one of the most-watched Turkish shows on Netflix. The filming of the third season will continue next year.
