Yesterday, Turkish viewers saw the first teaser of the series “Yabani” (Wild), which tells the story of a child from an affluent family who gets abducted, ends up on the streets, and later returns home after years to reclaim his newfound place.

However, the scriptwriter of the series “Ateş Kuşları” (The Firebird), Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz, sarcastically pointed out the obvious resemblance of the plot to her own project: “Hey guys, I’ve come up with a truly original idea here. Let’s make a series about a blood-related family and a named family, where the story is about a kidnapped child who ends up on the streets, hehe. Best of luck, we’ll be watching with interest.”
