Great news for fans of Birce Akalay and Mert Fırat. The actors are returning to the screens in the new TV series “I Have a Problem / Bir Derdim Var” on Kanal D. What do we know about the show right now?

Tay Yapım, the production company behind the series “I Have a Problem” (previously known as “Over the Threshold”), announced that the casting for the lead male role has been completed. It will be played by Mert Fırat, known for his roles in the series “Revenge” and “Stiletto Vendetta”. It is noteworthy that this role was originally offered to Çağlar Ertuğrul, but he declined the producers’ offer.

In the show, which is an adaptation of an Italian series, Birce will play the role of psychotherapist Nilufer, who helps teenagers who are facing difficulties in life. Fırat will play the role of prosecutor Ömer, who is investigating a mysterious murder. Also in the cast are Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, Engin Hepileri, Ata Artman, and Ata Berk Mutlu.

Filming for the series is set to begin soon. The director is Burak Müjdeci. The premiere is scheduled for the fall of 2023 on Kanal D.
