Burak Deniz defended Hande Erçel
In his recent interview, Burak Deniz stressed the success of the series “Another Love / Bambaşka Biri” and defended his co-star, Hande Erçel, against criticism, emphasizing that negative comments do not affect their professional approach.
Burak Deniz gave an interview to the Turkish press, stating that the series “Another Love / Bambaşka Biri” became the second-best-selling show at the Mipcom content exhibition in Cannes. He expressed satisfaction with such strong interest in the TV show in which he plays the lead role.
The actor, who attended the exhibition in Cannes with his co-star Hande Erçel, noted that everything is going well, and they continue to receive positive news from abroad.
Speaking about the success of the series “Another Love / Bambaşka Biri” abroad, Burak Deniz acknowledged that ratings have declined in Turkey, but he is confident that it can be rectified. He said, “Currently, everything is going well, the ratings are at an average level, and it seems they will grow. We are excited, we continue to work. We approach our work with the same enthusiasm and dedication. The script seems to be getting better.”
Regarding the criticism towards Hande Erçel, Burak also shared his opinion: “It’s a very subjective thing. You watch something, and if you don’t like it, there will be criticism. There will be both good and bad reviews. We will continue working.
Of course, we exchange ideas, and we have discussions on the set – after all, she is my partner. We have collaborated before, and now we are together again. Exchanging opinions on the set is fun.
Negative comments, of course, affect a person. Especially, I don’t speak on behalf of Hande, but no one wants to be spoken badly of. But these are just things we read and move on. Everyone wants to continue their work, wants to do it in the best way.”
