Nilperi Şahinkaya will return to the screens in the post-apocalyptic series “Dark Purple”

Renowned Turkish actress Nilperi Şahinkaya will play the leading female role in the new digital series “Dark Purple” (Derin Mor), scheduled to be released on the TRT Tabii platform on December 22.

The series unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world where, after a solar explosion, the electrical system and technologies have collapsed, leading to widespread chaos. The main character, a father whose life is filled with setbacks, strives to protect his daughter and reconnect with his wife, from whom he has no news. He embarks on a journey with a group of people he has never met.

The director of the series, written by Eşim Aslan, is Mahmut Fazıl Coşkun. Florian Herry serves as the director of photography.

The cast of the series also includes Deniz Çeliloğlu, Murat Kılıç, Zümre Ertürk, Arın Kuşakşızoğlu, and İncinur Daşdemir.

“Dark Purple” is an original project specially prepared for the TRT Tabii platform and consists of 8 episodes.
