Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” maintained its positions in total ratings but lost 0.42% in AB ratings. Against the backdrop of overall ratings decline due to the approaching end of the Holy month of Ramadan, the indicators of the show by producer Fatih Aksoy look very respectable. More than 10 million Turkish viewers eagerly watch the series every week, which is truly impressive.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” lost 1.63% in total ratings and 0.74% in AB ratings. The decline is quite predictable but very severe. If the show cannot recover after the holidays, its fate will be decided – the finale will come at the end of this season.

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” decreased by 0.26% in total ratings and 1.16% in AB ratings. While viewers still remain loyal to the show on ATV channel in total ratings, it’s losing AB audience too quickly. Its fate will be decided at the end of this month – if it fails to regain AB ratings, then the finale at the end of the season, i.e., in early June, will become inevitable.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” lost 0.74% in total ratings and 0.85% in AB ratings. Considering that the audience of TRT1 channel is the most conservative, the decline in interest in series during religious holidays is quite expected. However, given the fact that the series is very expensive to produce, low ratings indicate its finale at the end of the season.
