Purchasing property in Greece has become a trend among stars thanks to the “Golden Visa,” which provides a residence permit and freedom of movement within the Schengen Area countries. This factor has stimulated many Turkish stars to invest. Among the new contenders for property in Greece are Özge Özpirinçci and Serenay Sarıkaya, as well as blogger Mert Vidinli. They are either looking for or have already purchased property in Greece.

In light of the increased attention to the program, Greece has changed the conditions of the “Golden Visa,” raising the minimum investment amount for obtaining a residence permit from 250,000 euros to 400,000 euros. As a result, many are rushing to take advantage of the last opportunity to invest 250,000 euros before the new conditions come into effect on August 30th.
