About My Mother

The filming of Soner Sert’s movie “About My Mother” has begun. The project features Burak Dakak, Kadir Çermik, Yurdaer Okur, Başak Daşman, and Sahra Şaş. The shooting started in Istanbul last week and will continue in Cyprus, after which it will conclude in Istanbul.

Produced by AYEM Film, the film is a work of director and screenwriter Soner Sert. Evren Gündoğdu serves as the cinematographer. The movie addresses important issues about how an inheritance from a grandfather affects the relationships between brothers and sisters and reflects the moral and legal values of contemporary society. “About My Mother” is planned to be presented at many international festivals.
