Ferit Karahan, director of the film “Schoolyard Cut,” which was featured at the 71st Berlin Film Festival and received the FIPRESCI award, has started filming the new series “Love, Marriage, Hatred” in collaboration with Berton Medya.

The script is written by Gülistan Acet, who won the award for Best Female Role at the 50th Golden Orange Film Festival for the movie “Exile from Paradise.” Acet will also play the lead role in the series.

The project also involves Anıl İlter, Hasibe Eren, Cengiz Bozkurt, Elçin Afacan, and Damlasu İkizoğlu.

The plot tells the story of the young married couple Aslı and İbrahim, who are married and raising a six-year-old daughter. The story also touches upon the long-term marriages of their parents and the stories of their brothers and sisters, who, unlike the main characters, see hope in marriage.

The series “Love, Marriage, Hatred” explores various forms of love and marriage, the depth of personal connections, and the complexity of human relationships, which acquire new facets over time.

Negotiations are underway for the series to be shown on the Gain platform.
