How the Second Season of “Red Roses” Will Surprise Viewers

The series “Red Roses,” (Kızıl Goncalar) which consistently held high ratings on Turkish television on Mondays last season, is preparing to launch its second season with a refreshed storyline. Filming is scheduled for September, with the intention to prepare at least two episodes in advance.

According to sources close to the production, the first episode, written by Şükrü Necati Şahin and directed by Ömür Atay, will include a time jump in the narrative.

Changes in the cast are expected: two actors will leave the TV show, while a new actress will join. The character Meryem, played by Özgü Namal, will gain a new friend whom she meets in prison. The names of the new actress and her character will be announced soon.

Notably, the newly joined renowned actor Tolga Tekin will play a significant role in the new season. The second season of the project will premiere on NOW TV on Monday, September 30.
