Esra Bilgiç has been offered a role in Kanal D’s new series “In the Harsh Winter of Albora,” set in Mardin. The actress last starred in the series “Time’s Gate.” Fans have been eagerly anticipating which project she will appear in for the new season.

It is known that Esra, who carefully selects her projects, is in negotiations to star in the series “In the Harsh Winter of Albora” (Albora’nın Sert Kışında), produced by Tay Yapım. The project is an adaptation of the Lebanese series “Al Hayba.” The scriptwriter is Gülizar Irmak, and the director is Ahmet Katıksız. The project’s realization has been postponed for several years.

According to unofficial information, if the actress agrees to participate in the project, which is planned to air on Kanal D, she will play the role of Aliya. Her character is the mother of a boy named Cihan, who returns from Canada to her native Mardin to fulfill the will of her late husband, Boran Albora.

Negotiations are ongoing regarding who will play the main male role of the character named Cihan. The series will tell the captivating story of the Albora clan and their enemies, the Baybars family. It is reported that among the actors who have agreed to participate in the project is actress Gonca Cilasun.
