Birsen Altuntaş has revealed the name of Bergüzar Korel’s co-star, much to the delight of many fans. Mehmet Günsür is returning to the screen with an ambitious series after years away.

The series, based on real events, is set to air on Kanal D and promises to be a sensation. “My Mother Ankara” is one of the most anticipated projects of the new season. The series is produced by BKM, with the renowned Faruk Teber, known for his unforgettable works, as the director. The script, which is based on the life story of the writer’s mother, was written by Başak Angigün.

Bergüzar Korel, one of Turkey’s most popular actresses, will play the lead role of Zuhal Angigün. The role of Hasan, her partner, will be played by the internationally acclaimed actor Mehmet Günsür, who will be returning to television series after years.
