Burak Özçivit to Star in a Russian Film

The star of the Turkish series “Magnificent Century,” Burak Özçivit, will make his debut in Russian cinema by playing one of the leading roles in the film “Yolki 11.” Known to Russian audiences for his role as Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey in “Magnificent Century,” this will be Özçivit’s first appearance in a Russian movie.

Filming for the new installment of the popular New Year’s comedy will take place in the city of Almetyevsk, located in the Republic of Tatarstan. The film is directed by Aleksandr Karpilovskiy. Ruzil Minekayev, known for his role as the bully Marat in the series “The Word of a Guy,” will also participate in the film.

Additionally, social media reports that casting is underway in Almetyevsk for extras in scenes featuring popular Russian and Turkish actors. On August 26 and 28, girls aged 18-25 are being sought to portray fans of a famous foreign artist.
