İlhan Şen and Demet Özdemir to Star Together in a Family Drama

İlhan Şen and Demet Özdemir

Demet Özdemir and İlhan Şen will take on the leading roles in the new film “The Wedding of the Jinn,” directed by Ferit Karahan. Karahan, who gained recognition for his work “The Teacher,” is set to begin filming his new project.

His previous film received the Fipresci award at the Berlin Film Festival and the Best Film award at the Golden Orange Festival.

Following her success in the series “My Name is Farah,” Demet Özdemir chose this festival film for her return to the screen. İlhan Şen, known as one of Turkey’s most charismatic young actors, has also joined the cast.

The film, which tells a family story, is set to begin filming in October in Erzincan. Demet and İlhan will portray siblings.
