Turkish Series on Netflix in 2024: What to Watch Right Now?

According to Netflix’s report for the first half of 2024, Turkish productions have shown respectable results, although they did not make it into the top 5 in either the series or films categories.

Among the series, the leader was  “Thank you, next”, with its first season amassing 86.9 million hours of viewing and 14.8 million viewers, placing it at 74th in the overall ranking. It is followed by “Kübra” (Season 1) in 270th place and “As the Crow Flies” (Season 3) in 296th.

In the films’ category, the most popular was “The Romantic Thief”, released on March 14. It garnered 34.5 million viewing hours and 20.9 million viewers, placing 81st in the film’s ranking. In second place among Turkish films was “Ashes”, with 29.6 million hours of viewing and 17.6 million viewers (121st in the overall ranking). Rounding out the top three is “You’ll Grow Up”, which accumulated 24.3 million hours of viewing and 14.6 million viewers, placing 160th among all films on the platform.
