Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Land of Beautiful Love (Güzel Aşklar Diyarı)” made a rather average start in the Total category but did not capture much interest from the AB audience. If the ratings do not improve next week, the chances of the show staying on air for long are slim. Interestingly, both new series were even surpassed in the AB category by a rerun of “Genius.”

The series “Black Mulberry (Karadut)” also began with fairly modest numbers. One can only hope these improve next week. Given the strict financial demands on Turkish series this season, low ratings almost certainly guarantee a swift cancellation, leaving the future of the series in serious doubt.
