Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Mountain of Hearts (Gönül Dağı)” saw a 1.59% increase in total viewership and a 2.32% rise in the AB demographic, once again proving that Turkish viewers’ love for this show has remained steadfast for five years. Despite minor fluctuations caused by unexpected schedule changes and the beloved football season, the audience consistently returns to watch their favorite show.

The series “Lie (Yalan)” experienced a 0.16% increase in total viewership and a 0.09% rise in the AB demographic. As the only summer project still airing this year, it is holding up well in the main season, despite the director’s tendency toward “Bollywood-style effects,” such as drawn-out dramatic episodes with close-up shots of the actors. However, this approach resonates well with the average viewer, and the series continues to hold its ground on air despite growing competition.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” saw a 0.08% increase in total viewership but lost 0.46% in the AB demographic. Semi-official sources, such as Birsen Altuntaş, claim that the show will remain on air until the New Year due to strong overseas sales. However, one shouldn’t be overly optimistic—if the AB ratings continue to decline, even international sales won’t be able to save it, and the situation remains highly precarious.
