The Kanal D television channel plans to air the series “Eşref’s Dream,” starring Çağatay Ulusoy, on Tuesday (competitors include “Bahar,” “Secret Garden,” “Mehmed the Conqueror,” and “Night Tale”). The premiere will take place in January.
Filming has begun for the new series “Fer.” This is a joint project between the GAİN platform and the BKM company. The main character is Dilek, a mother of two children. During her divorce, she starts working as a taxi driver and unexpectedly finds herself entangled in smuggling. The project’s director is Türkan Derya, and the screenwriter is Devin Özgür Çınar. In eight episodes, the main roles are played by Melisa Sözen and Ertan Saban. Melisa plays Dilek, and Ertan plays Shadi, a cosmetologist whose encounter with Dilek in a taxi changes her life. The series also stars: Ceren Taşçı as Hilal, Dilek’s friend and restaurant owner; Ferit Aktuğ as Dilek’s husband Ahmet; Gül Onat as her mother Saadet; Mutlu Güney as her father Niyazi; Onur Dilber as Shadi’s Cyprus partner Remzi; and Celil Nalçakan as his rival Polat.
The second season of “Scent of the Chest” brings significant changes. Four actors are leaving the series: Necip Memili (Reha), Seda Türkmen (Lale), Ece Irtem (Hande), and Serkan Badur (Mert). However, two new characters will appear. The first is Hakan, a guard who starts a romance with Ayça (played by Nesrin Cavadzade). The second is İhsan, who becomes a partner to Gülnaz (Gözde Seda Altuner). Talks are currently underway with actors for these roles.
Filming for the series “Dirty Laundry” has concluded—the final episode will air this Sunday.
Filming for the movie “Blue Bird” has wrapped. The lead roles are played by Aslıhan Malbora and Aytaç Şaşmaz, and the director is Soner Caner.

I play the daughter of the club’s president, and my father is played by Gürkan Uygun. Filming is a joy, and returning to Trabzon has been especially wonderful.”
The daytime series “The Sun Will Melt the Ice,” produced by Kanal D and Mednova, is concluding with its 75th and final episode, which will air on Friday.
