Ali Atay and Hazal Kaya Unite On Screen for the First Time in a New Disney Plus Series

Ali Atay, who recently wrapped up work on the Exxen series “Anonymous,” is gearing up for a new comedy TV show.

Disney Plus is making a strong comeback to the market with ambitious premieres. Upcoming releases include the film “Umami” starring Burak Deniz and Öykü Karayel (February 12), the series “Başka Bir Sen” with Giray Altınoğlu and Ezgi Mola (March), the comedy “Kalender Pide Salonu” featuring Tolga Çevik and İbrahim Büyükak (April), and the drama “Aşkı Hatırla” starring Barış Arduç and Hande Erçel (May).

The centerpiece of the platform’s offerings is set to be the comedy series “The 8th Family.” Filming for the eight-episode show will begin in February in Istanbul. The plot humorously explores the lives of the world’s eighth-richest family.

The series boasts a star-studded cast: Haluk Bilginer will play the family patriarch, with his children portrayed by Ali Atay, Serkan Keskin, Çağlar Çorumlu, Hazal Kaya, Mehmet Özgür, and Fatih Artman.

This marks a milestone for Ali Atay, as it will be his first on-screen collaboration with his wife, actress Hazal Kaya.
