Pastel Film has bought the rights to the BBC series Happy Valley. This is the story of a police woman named Katrin who lost her daughter. She committed suicide after the rape, leaving the mother with a young son, who was born as a result of rape. When Katrin learns that the man who raped her daughter 8 years ago was released from prison where he was serving a sentence for selling drugs, she begins to look for the rapist, intending to take revenge on him. At the same time, she is investigating the kidnapping of the girl, not knowing that she was the victim of the same person who raped her child.
