Serenay Sarıkaya promoted on the success of Çağatay Ulusoy
In the wake of the global success of Çağatay Ulusoy’s film Paper Lives / Kağıttan Hayatlar, the Turkish tabloid Sabah did not find anything more suitable than to promote his former co-stars, announcing that they would receive a salary even more than the popular actor. Bensu Soral has more modest requests, she just took a million Turkish lira for advertising, which looks like a very reasonable figure.
The Turkish press, however, “gave” Serenay Sarıkaya 400,000 Turkish lira per one episode of the eight-episode series for one of the digital platforms. At the same time, they did not fail to note that the main actor and producer of the film, who ranks second in the Netflix world ratings, as well as former boyfriend of Serenay Çağatay Ulusoy, now earns 350 thousand Turkish lira per episode of the new Turkish series Yeşilçam.
Thus, the journalists proudly announced that the actress, in whose career there is only one solo hit (by the way, with the same Çağatay in the title role), was ahead of the leader among men, that is, Çağatay Ulusoy. Recall that six months ago, the same press announced that Çağatay eaned 250 thousand Turkish lira per episode of the Turkish project (his salary was 500 thousand Turkish lira on Netflix), and Burak Özçivit was the leader in payment with 350 thousand Turkish lira. But it seems that the journalists “cut” Burak’salary because he did not play with Serenay.
P.S. Sometimes the unrestrained and shameless lies of the PR managers of actresses play a cruel joke on them – the Turks are not stupid enough to “swallow” such an outright lie, even if it is powdered with real payment for advertising to Bensu Soral.
