American producers are changing the story of Sandokan

According to one of the most influential publications on show business, Deadline, Lux Vide company will work with producer and screenwriter Scott Rosenbaum, who became the show-runner of the Sandokan series. The story in the show will be significantly changed and told from the point of view of a female character. The main star of the project will be Lady Marianne, a noble woman who was kidnapped by Sandokan and his band of pirates, but later voluntarily joined them, becoming the first female pirate in history. Turkish actor Can Yaman is attached to star.
