Curious news for fans of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. The Turkish actor is in talks to take part in a Hollywood project starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney. What do we know about the project right now?

For two years, leading Hollywood studios and digital platforms Lionsgate, Sony, Netflix, Universal, Amazon, Annapurna Pictures and Warner Bros have been vying for a new movie by director Jon Watts, best known for his successful work on the Spider-Man film series. Interest in the film was fueled by the names of the leading actors. The director obtained the consent of Brad Pitt and George Clooney to star in the movie, where they will also be co-producers. Finally, Apple Studios announced that it had signed the coveted contract. The movie will be released on the digital platform, but a theatrical release is also part of the agreement.

The details of the plot are not yet known, but the film is said to focus on two fixers who get the same gig. It is assumed that if the movie will be successful, then a sequel will be released. According to the Turkish press, casting among Turkish actors is underway for the first film, code-named “Unicorn”.

Hollywood’s producers drew attention to Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Umut Karadağ and Yılmaz Erdoğan. Negotiations are underway with all three stars. Whether they are offered the same role or if the producers need three Turkish actors at once is not yet known.
