The well-known screenwriter and actress Gülse Birsel said in her last interview that there is no problem with great actors in Turkey, there are enough of them. But there is a problem with the writers. Moreover, this problem is systemic, since the authors of the script simply do not have enough time to live. But it didn’t start like that. She wrote the script for the series “European Side” for 43-44 minutes. She did the last television series for 135 minutes. In the end, Gülse decided that another 20 minutes, and she was leaving the series altogether. But then digital projects appeared, and she decided to work with this format until the thinking on television finally changes.
