The creators of ‘Şahmaran’ offended the actors of the show

A very unpleasant situation is developing around the Netflix series ‘Şahmaran‘. Actors who played supporting roles have expressed their dissatisfaction with the policy of the production company and the digital platform. What happened?

Mahir Günşiray, who played one of the supporting roles in the Netflix series ‘Şahmaran‘, commented on another promo of the series starring Serenay Sarıkaya, Burak Deniz, and Mert Ramazan Demir: “Bravo! You made a show with three great actors. Congratulations and good luck!”

Many took the actor‘s words as a bitter statement of fact – supporting actors usually do not participate in the promotion of the show. However, this is typical not only for Turkish show business; the whole world advertises movie productions with stars, and not with the entire film crew.

However, TIMS&B can also be blamed. They completely forgot about all the other actors who starred in the series “Şahmaran“. In other Netflix projects, however, there was no such complete oblivion; the producers tried to show the whole cast, even if Netflix only focused on the leading stars. In the case of Şahmaran, even at the gala premiere they only took interview with the stars of the series, forgetting about other actors. Social media users even started talking about the fact that if Mert Ramazan Demir had not become mega-popular after the release of the ‘Golden Boy’ series, the producers of the Netflix show would have also forgotten about him.
