Far-right MHP chairman Devlet Bahçeli criticized the actions of the Haluk Levent Foundation and the Babala platform, accusing them of discrediting the actions of the Turkish state, which he claimed was unable to help the victims. An ally of President Erdoğan stated that such people should not be allowed on Turkish television. The Turkish people then asked a logical question: Where was he for nine days?
