In the TV series “Gonul Dagi”, airing on TRT, actor Ferdi Sancar, who plays the role of minibus driver Sefer, made a donation to the “Turkey One Heart” campaign by selling his 1998 car. The actor explained that this was his only valuable possession, but he couldn’t just sit and watch children playing on the rubble of destroyed buildings. The businessman who bought the car for 500,000 Turkish liras insisted that the car should remain with Ferdi.
