The series “Çöp Adam” faced serious competition on Wednesday
The new Turkish series “Çöp Adam” starring Engin Altan Düzyatan and Elçin Sangu, which airs on Star TV on Wednesday evenings, is popular among Turkish viewers.
With its unique plot, the series attracts an educated and wealthy audience and achieves above-average ratings in the AB and ABC1 categories, as well as good results in the total category. However, the latest 12th episode, released on Wednesday, March 1, brought a serious drop in ratings in all categories, causing concern. A drop of 1-1.5% in all groups indicates a possible sharp change in viewers’ preferences.
In addition, the project faced competition from the new series “My Name is Farah”, which premiered on Fox TV. The series, starring Demet Ozdemir and Engin Akyürek, outperforms “Çöp Adam” in the ratings of two other groups, except for ABC1, thanks to the successful work of the actors. If “My Name is Farah” continues to grow in ratings, it could accelerate the crisis of “Çöp Adam”.
At the same time, “The Ottoman” continues to lead on Wednesday evenings. With only two episodes remaining of “This Girl”, it seems that “My Name is Farah” and “Çöp Adam” will closely follow each other in the race for a place under the sun in the ratings battle on Wednesdays.
