Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Alparslan Büyük Selçuklu” grew by 1.21% in total and by 2.63% in AB. It appears that Turkish viewers’ mood of apathy has passed, and they are once more engaging in their preferred evening activity — watching their favorite TV shows. It is even more surprising that Emre Konuk, the series’ producer, has chosen to wrap up the plot at the end of the season given the show’s stellar ratings.

The series “Omer” grew by 0.60% in total and by 1.25% in AB. Given the challenging airing day, this is a good outcome. Although it is unlikely to become a huge hit, it nevertheless has devoted viewers who will watch it without break through the rest of the season and perhaps even into the next one.

The series “Yasak Elma” grew by 0.64% in total and by 0.48% in AB. The growth is just sufficient to appease ardent viewers, but not sufficient to compel the producer to order another season of the show, which is obviously unnecessary. It is important to note that the project’s finale will occur at the end of this season.

The series “Bir Küçük GünIşığı” grew by 0.45% in total and by 0.12% in AB. Although the show’s ratings are strong enough to comfortably carry it through to the end of this season, a second season is not likely to be commissioned.

The series “Veda Mektubu” rose by 0.96% in total and by 1.19% in AB, which is great news for fans who will likely get a short but exciting story with their favorite actors. With these ratings, it is unlikely that the series will be renewed for the next season, but it will end this season as it should – in late May or early June.
