Filming for the movie “Zubeyde, Mother of Sons / Zübeyde Analar Oğullar” will begin next week, which tells the story of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s mother, Zübeyde Hanım. The movie is being handled by ICNN Yapım, and the role of young Zübeyde Hanım will be played by Aslıhan Güner. The movie, produced by Nuri Yıldırım, Zeynep Güngör, and Alper Tosun, is planned to be released on October 29, the day of the centennial celebration of the founding of the Turkish Republic. The role of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the film will be played by Alican Yücesoy.

The film, written by Ilber Tekinsoy, will be directed by Cen Yaz. We will also see Mustafa Kemal’s sister, Makbule Hanım, played by Sitare Akbaş. The filming will begin today in Bergama.
