Series about the investigation of a political assassination

Famous Turkish journalist Sina Kologlu reports that BKM company is preparing a new miniseries that will tell the story of the unsolved murder of the well-known journalist Ugur Mumcu.

This political crime remains a mystery to this day. The series will attempt to conduct its own investigation. The events will begin after January 24, 1993, when the journalist’s car was exploded in Ankara. His family and close friends decided to investigate what happened themselves. At the time of the crime, the journalist was investigating the links between Turkey’s foreign intelligence service and the Kurdish Workers’ Party, recognized as a terrorist organization.

Meetings have already been held with some TV channels and digital platforms, and a contract has been signed with a director. Filming of the series will start very soon.
