Turkey has become a hub for shooting foreign films, according to a report from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The report also includes impressive figures on literature, museums, archaeology, cinema, theater, historical sites, and national treasures in Turkey, which have become of interest to foreign tourists.

In 2020, 120 foreign projects were shot in Turkey, while in 2021, the number increased to 155. In 2022, permission was granted to shoot for 224 foreign projects, including 17 films.
