Ratings of Turkish TV
The ratings for Thursday brought Turkish viewers a new series called “Gülcemal,” which started modestly but not disastrously. Everything will depend on the further dynamics of the show. Many successful series in Turkey started from relatively low positions in the ratings.
The series “Camdaki Kız” lost 0.96% in total and 1.11% in AB. The decline is quite significant, but the producer Onur Guvenatam’s show has enough resilience to reach the finale at the end of this season without any problems.
The series “Al Sancak” lost 0.41% in total but grew by 0.26% in AB. Note that in the spring, during the Sacred Month of Ramadan, many shows aimed at a conservative audience saw a significant decrease in viewers, so this decline is not particularly surprising. Whether there will be a second season, we will find out at the end of May, when ratings should either finally drop or rise.
The series “Aldatmak” lost 1.15% in total and 0.49% in AB. The ATV channel’s audience is quite conservative, so the rating drop during Ramadan is quite predictable. It is unlikely that the channel will decide to renew the show for a second season, although the final decision will be made in May.
The series “Yüz Yıllık Mucize” lost 0.41% in total and 0.87% in AB. Unfortunately, this is another failure in the career of director Hilal Saral, who shoots very beautifully but cannot adjust to modern requirements. She has simply become outdated.
The series “Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi” lost 0.04% in total and 0.26% in AB. The show has successfully held its ground on the air for a whole season, which can already be considered a success. Since the finale has already been announced, fans of the series are not worried about ratings and are simply waiting for this exciting story to end.
