New summer series on D Channel

The television channel “Kanal D” is preparing a new summer series called “Tropics / Dönence”. It will be shot in Foça, and the director will be Kerem Çakıroğlu. The project will be produced by İç Yapımlar. The S.A Writing Group is working on the script.

The series will be about the lives of young people and is based on the Israeli project “Exceptional”. The main character will be a young girl named Gece, who has a sister named Gülcem with Asperger’s syndrome. Gülcem’s move to Foça will change her sister’s life, especially after she enrolls in school. Filming is planned for the end of April and beginning of May, and negotiations for the cast have already begun. “Kanal D” also plans to release several other projects on screen this summer.
