Mehmet Resul Kaya in the TV series Kubra

Actor Mehmet Resul Kaya will join the team of the series “Kübra” starring Çağatay Ulusoy on the digital platform Netflix.

Filming of the series, based on the eponymous book by Afşin Kum, is ongoing under the direction of the Taylan brothers. The scriptwriters Murat Uyurkulak, Rana Mamattlioglu, and Bekir Baran Sitki are responsible for the script. Mehmet Resul Kaya will join the cast starting from the third episode and will play the role of a character named Bugra, who is an information technology specialist. The series tells the story of the life of Gökhan, a young and religious resident of the district who is respected and loved by everyone and who changes his life thanks to messages from a user with the nickname “Kübra” in a virtual dating group.
