Merve Dizdar found herself in a difficult situation
According to Birsen Altuntaş, yesterday evening Merve Dizdar, who arrived in Cannes to attend the screening of director Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s film “On Dry Grass,” faced a problem when she was not allowed to board the plane departing from France.
As it turned out, Merve had a short stay in Cannes because she had scheduled filming for the series “Ömer” the next morning. However, she was unable to secure a seat on the plane. “I left the Cannes Film Festival to make it to the shooting location and arrived at the airport two hours ago. I was not allowed to board because the plane I tried to check in for within the last 24 hours was fully booked. I have filming scheduled for tomorrow morning, and I can’t fly… Four other people are also in the same situation. How do you explain this?” she wrote, addressing Turkish Airlines.
As soon as a representative from Turkish Airlines saw Merve’s tweet, they immediately contacted the renowned actress and assured her that assistance would be provided.
