Merve Dizdar has received an award at Cannes Film Festival

Merve Dizdar, known to the audience for her roles in the series “Apartment of the Innocents” and “Omer,” has made history in world cinema as the first Turkish actress to be awarded the “Best Actress” prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
The award was presented to Merve for her role in the film “On Dry Grass” directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, who has been honored with this prestigious award multiple times.
