Romanian journalists specially traveled to Turkey to interview Mert Ramazan Demir, the actor who portrays the character Ferit in the Turkish series “Golden Boy,” which has captivated the Romanian audience.

In an interview for Romanian television, Mert Ramazan Demir described his character as follows: “Irritable, self-satisfied, even excessively self-satisfied, to some extent narcissistic. He values only his own words, and his grandfather is the only person he pays attention to. He can reject everyone else except him. Once he gets what he wants, he loses interest immediately.”

When asked about the resemblance to the character Ferit, the actor said that after portraying a character six days a week, people try to identify him with Ferit.

Mert stated, “On the contrary, I was completely different before starting this job. When I start playing Ferit, I become Ferit for that time. I also behave like Ferit in real life. My mannerisms are shaped according to his mood. Sometimes, if there’s a scene with tantrums, I behave like a spoiled child. Honestly, I adapt to it. But it’s not who I am. I become Ferit for that week according to the script.”
