Toprak Sağlam appeared as a guest on Ceyda Duvenci’s show, sharing her thoughts on her character Zerrin, Pelin’s mother, in the series “Golden Boy”: “Golden Boy” is a project that has made an impact this year. Zerrin puts in all her efforts to ensure the well-being of her daughter and genuinely strives to fulfill the promise she made. Many have said, “Why are you trying to involve your daughter with a married man? Are you trying to make her a mistress?” However, their relationship story started long before Seyran entered Ferit’s life. She already had certain promises, so Zerrin came to Turkey from London to protect her daughter’s dignity, honor, and way of life. She struck the Korhan family like a lightning bolt. As a woman, I believe that in some moments, Zerrin acts rightly, and in some, unfairly. There are women who are confident, know what they want, and see nothing when it comes to their family. Zerrin is such a woman, and that’s why I love her.
